It was 12 months project but due to COVID, The Goat Trust had taken permission for no cost extension up to September 2021. As per MoU, The Goat Trust has completed all deliverables. One of the successes of the project has been in promoting a few goat milk enterprises and we wish to expand the "Gift a Glass of Milk" program to 100 malnourished girl children of poor families. Our experiences of this work seem very encouraging and families are paying a small amount. This has been started during the COVID crisis but now we are looking at it as a full-fledged program. It fits well with the CSR objectives of NSFDC.
NSFDC under its CSR initiatives has sanctioned a project for strengthening goat based livelihoods & rural entrepreneurship development in small livestock product value chain via its sanction letter NSFDC/CSR/UP/TGT/01/2678 .
The Total outlay of project has been 17,93, 250 Rs to be disbursed in 3 installments based on output achievement. The Goat Trust has received two installment of value 8,96,625 (installment I) and Rs 7,17,300 (Installment II).
Second installment was received in April 2021 and due to COVID and delay in payment release, project activity was completed now in September 2021.
Third and final installment of Rs 1,79,325 (Rs one lakh, seventy nine thousands and three hundred twenty five ) has following condition as per MoU for fund releasing –
